Pacific Raceways Make Up Day
In June drift safari was invited to participate in a semi-private drift event at Pacific Raceways in the greater Seattle area. This was to be a 2 day event, and as you can tell, we never got both days. We experienced heavy rain on the first day, and the track had to cancel non-rain friendly racing and postpone it to the next day, which bumped us.
We had the make up day on Oct 26, and it was beautiful outside. We were limited to a few corners on the huge track, but that did not stop us from having a blast.
On the way down the night before we stopped for some food. Mat and I had to park with the local "rice", a bashed up CRX that had Tweety Bird seat covers. Nice.
It was so cold driving the Corolla down, no heat sucks. Jasmine was not impressed to say the least. :)
It is Earl's favorite place to find women (girls). Myspace.
The group of us, waiting to run, Felicia hiding.
We were up, with the girls in tow, we attacked the course. Amanda ready to rock!
I had a very poor morning of driving, not staying on course, dirt dropping, just a bad time. After I ate lunch, and enjoyed a break, I went back and did a lot better. Ian and Mat were killing it all day. Here are some of the driving pics we had on Jasmine's camera.
Here is a short clip of Mat and then me doing the uphill.
Our Support Crew. Without them, we are helpless. Thanks Girls.

The day ended, no crashes, but a few of the other drivers cars had some engine damage. Our cars all still worked, which made getting home a little nicer. :) Jesse on the other hand did not setup his trailer ramps properly...
Until next time.
