Ian Fournier's Vk56 4door skyline Pt.2

Another quick update after the weekend.

On friday we confirmed that the ECU and intake flanges and custom super charger had arrived and we were able to pick them up, So saturday Ian, Mat, and Nathan, long time friend of ian's came out to work on the car and crunch down as much as we could with Formula D Seattle just around the corner.

Here the custom oilpan Ian has made for the Vk56 with the baffle's completed.

Here is another shot under the top baffle with the pick up mounted.

The next step was to install the ECU which was provided by Haltech directly Thanks again!

With the weekends not being long enough to work on the car, and trent being unavailable for the weekend we did not get to much wiring done, Although we did manage to finnish the fuse/switch panel, as well as the shifter hole cover mount the oilcooler's provided by B&M, and finnish the motor mounts.

With only 3 weeks till FD Seattle "Throwdown!"   there is still lots to do on the car, The engine mounts are going in for powder coating this week, also the custom intake will made now that our intake flanges have arrived as well our custom supercharger and tensioner have arrived,

Trent is coming out  this week to finnish wiring up the ecu and our goal is by week's end to be able to fire it up and get some shake down in. Thanks again to Fatlace, B&M, ACT Clutch's and Haltech. Stay tuned! More updates to come!  LTGR - Zack Geng.

Wicked R31

Awesome R31 built by R31house of Japan!

The Teardown Has Begun

After the Formula D Finals in Irwindale, I had a dead engine, so being that I can not use a dead motor in my car, I have started the tear down for next season.

The plans for next year are uncertain. The results may be disapointing for some, depending on which route the help of sponsors take me. RB27? VK56? Not sure yet. Money is the first thing I need. :(
